The Sunset Squadron by Joy Jackson

Joy Jackson will play one of her favorite creations, the Sunset Squadron. We will
be treated to the Director’s Cut of this radio play, originally recorded in 2004.
The program will start with the promo that KIXI radio built for the show, since it
was broadcast a week after the performance.
The show has been modified with the addition of some characters, and new performances
by a few others, along with enhanced sound effects and music. Afterwards, Joy will
be willing to share behind the scenes experiences that made a difference in the writing
of the play.
What’s it about? The Sunset Squadron shares the experiences of a P-51 pilot during
the week of May 25, 1945. All of the events that make up the play happened in real
life that week, in the sea off Japan.
