We start the year with a new author and as we did a British author last time, I wanted to recrews the pond and bring in someone we’ve looked at but have really never studied. So we’ll be beginning the works of Herman Melville on radio, starting with Moby Dick. It is a perfect example of transcendental literature and we’ll be listening to NBC University Theater from April 10 of 1949. Henry Hull plays Ahab, Hi Averback plays Ishmael.
