The Great Halifax Explosion Dec 6, 1917 Reports on the two
ships that collided, one of them an ammunition ship which then exploded.
The Richmond area of Halifax was leveled and more than 2,000
people died. Also explored the histories of some of the victims who were blinded
by the flying glass from the windows., and the Canadian Institute of the Blind.
