Parley Baer was one of our favorite people and also one of our favorite character actors on Radio and Television.

He will be the subject of the next Radio Out of the Past as Larry Gassman will salute him with a show and also an interview talking about those wonderful Radio days.

Dear Friends of Oldtime Radio,

I am very sad to report that our dear friend Glenn Schroeder passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020. At our Thursday night Oldtime Radio event we shall spend as long as needed remembering our friend Glenn.

We shall open the Bertelsen Room 15 minutes before the beginning of the official program. Let us all who knew and loved Glenn give our heartfelt remarks which will be recorded during our official program. Thank you.

October 31 falls on a Saturday this year, but the Presenter for
“Michael’s Saturday Surprise” has something special in mind for that
day, that doesn’t include typical Old-time Radio Halloween Shows.

In an effort to Present something just a bit scary without playing
those same Shows we’ve all heard a hundred times before, I offer the
