It’s time for another What once Was Radio. This Thursday is Groundhot Day and you will already know if we get 6 more weeksof winter or not, but we will still celebrate the day with programming dealing with the day.

We will start with a Quiz Kids Program and then listen to segments from the Almanac from Bob and ray, and then finish up with Lum and Abner.

Hi all,
This week, Ron Bond debuts on Thursday nights with two shows featuring actors who double.
Most character actors double so normally, this wouldn’t be such a big deal.
But in this case one of the actors was the star of the show and the other a co-star.
First we’ll hear “Frontier Gentleman” from 06/08/1958 episode 19 starring John Dehner in Belljoy’s Prisoner.
Next we’ll hear Parley Baer in “Gunsmoke” from 07/20/1958 Episode 328 Marshal Proudfoot.
