Dear OTR Fans,
This week’s program celebrates baseball season. Yes, it is nearly summer and for a few months we can listen to the crack of the bats as our favorite players hit homeruns. Come by and find out what program I have chosen. It starts at 8:30 pm Eastern Time. However, do drop by at 8 pm EDT for some great chatter featured by the short programs items they host.

Our Presenter for this week is Daniel Vejil. Let us read what Daniel will be playing.

I am showcasing an episode of the “CBS Radio Mystery Theater”, called “Key To Murder”, first broadcast on March 28, 1975.

I am surprised that I remembered any of this show’s details, as this was before I began recording the program on cassettes, for later listening. I also wasn’t sure whether or not I heard it when it was first broadcast, however a search on the Internet revealed that the date roughly corresponds to the current New Mexican week of Spring Break. I also remember at the age of nine that I had a fondness for happy endings, and for all of its beginning drama, this show certainly has one.

Our Presenter for this week is Rick Spurgeon. Let us read what Rick will be playing.

If you’ve been listening to my recent MSS presentations you know I’ve been struggling with the spectre of becoming a bona fide senior citizen. The battle continues as we highlight some favorite radio stars in their later years. We start by returning to those thrilling days of the ’30s and finish with a snappy snippet from the ’70s starrring two radio greats from the ’40s.
