First we have Crime Classicsc an historical murder made interesting thanks to Elliott Lewis. And, after getting you in a good mood, we’ll up the ante with some classic Bob and Ray. I really think you’ll enjoy this 65 minutes of entertainment.

Hey gang, it’s time for another What Once was Radio. Thursday night June 9th in the Fred Bertelsen room 9:00 P.M. eastern day light time and 6:00 p.m. out west. I won’t tell you the programs or shows but let’s just say that we will hear a remembrance that will have your mind wandering trying to figure where it is going and then we will have a nice romance.

As we twist that old tuning knob this time I can promise you a pair of truly amazing shows. While I won’t guarantee you’ll be amazed by them, I think it’s safe to say you will enjoy. You might already have an idea what one offering will be. If not, all I can say is tut tut. Oops, I just gave you a clue to one of the shows, so I’d better stop now before I completely spoil the surprise.

This week, in honor of Cinco de may when Mexican troops defeated a French Army and took a big step towards the independence of Mexico. I shall play two shows by The Robin Hood of the Old West, The Cisco Kid starring Jack mather and harry lang. Please drop by at 8 pm for some great oTR chat. I suspect that there may be some Latino music for you to hear in commemoration of Cinco de mayo.
